I filled my green containers with salad vegetables, purple with strawberries and blueberries, red with fish, Shakeology and Quorn Chicken substitute (since I'm a vegetarian), the yellow is for complex carbohydrates like oatmeal and yams, the blue for healthy fats like avocado or hummus and the itty-bitty orange container is for homemade salad dressing. You can fill all your containers ahead of time so they are ready to go for the next day and you have no excuses! The plan is so simple and you can even drink coffee and wine! You do have to substitute your yellow containers for the wine, but I guess everything comes at a price right? The teaspoon icons are for peanut butter, and olive oil. It's amazing how you don't feel hungry on this plan because you are always eating. I tried to have a mini-meal every 2-3 hours depending on what I had going on each day. There is even a reference in the back of the book for what to cross off if you go out to eat. The workouts are great too and the half hour flies by. Most of the workouts are a combination of cardio and weight training which makes for a steady calorie burn throughout the day.
